First, check our directory to find out if a friends group already exists at your state park or forest. Can't find a friends group at your favorite park or forest? Contact the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation to learn how you might work in partnership with your local park/forest manager to start a friends group. Start a Friends Group
The Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation (PPFF) assists motivated citizens, businesses, and local organizations in forming partnerships and friends groups to support a state owned park, forest, natural area or other such entity. Working with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation & Natural Resources (DCNR), the government agency with ultimate responsibility for these state lands, the PPFF will assist those interested in creating a partnership or friends group with a state park or forest.
