Volunteer
Volunteers - they're the lifeblood of any nonprofit organization and PPFF is proud to offer the dedicated volunteer a wide variety of opportunities to put his or her special skills to work. Whether you're a trailbuilder, a wildlife expert, an event organizer or one of those special people who always say, "Just put me to work wherever you need me," Pennsylvania's state parks and forests have a role for you.
Friends Groups
Maybe you have a special affinity for a specific park or forest. If so, a PPFF Chapter is the perfect outlet for your creative energy. What IS a Friends group?
Check our map to find out if a friends group already exists at your state park or forest. They’ll happily welcome you with open arms and a task or two of your very own!
No group listed? Why not start one? Working with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation & Natural Resources, PPFF can help! To find out more, check out Creating a Friends Group and Practical Reasons for Being a PPFF Chapter.
